Description
Interstitium II: The Reaching Dark
Here, light does not reveal. It negotiates.
The tree does not stand. It extends.
Its branches behave like questions moving into space.
The tide erases its base even as the moon draws its outline.
This image was created at the moment when multiple movements overlap.
Water advancing. Light traveling. Wind shaping form.
Nothing occupies a single condition long enough to stabilize.
The structure we see is temporary.
The darkness is not absence. It is the field in which the image briefly becomes possible.
This work belongs to a larger series exploring the interstitium. The space where things are neither fixed nor gone. Where matter, light, and time briefly agree to hold a shape.
