Exciting News: “La Foto” Selected for the Hollywood Florida Film Festival
I am thrilled to announce that my latest project, “La Foto,” has been officially selected for the upcoming Hollywood Florida Film Festival, scheduled to take place from March 21st to 23rd, 2025. This festival, located just twenty minutes from Miami and ten minutes from Fort Lauderdale, is renowned for celebrating cinema under the Florida sunshine. Known as “Hollywood by the Sea,” it offers the perfect blend of sun, sand, and stellar filmmaking.
About “La Foto”
“La Foto” is an autobiographical documentary that delves into the significance of the only existing family photograph we possess. Through the voices of my family members—my mother, brothers, and myself—we explore how this single image shapes our perceptions of identity and time. The film raises poignant questions: Does a photograph truly capture who we are at a given moment? How do our interpretations of this image define our familial bonds and individual selves?
